Jonathan Moore spent the first eighteen years of his career working with the Jardine Matheson Group in shipping related roles in Europe and Asia. He ran their Shipping Agency operations in Singapore and Thailand and served as Jardines' Country Manager for Taiwan. In 1989 he took a year's sabbatical to qualify as a Sloan Fellow at London Business School. In 1994 he was seconded to the British Government as an Export Promoter, working under Michael Heseltine to assist UK businesses wishing to export to Hong Kong and China. At the end of the secondment he joined Leader Financial Research Ltd, an executive recruitment company, before joining The London Maritime Partnership in 1997.
Paul Smith is qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court and has a background spanning more than 25 years in senior management of maritime insurance companies most recently at International Transport Intermediaries Club Ltd, the leading club for ship agents, ship managers and shipbrokers. He sits on the board of several major international shipping organisations and is a member of the Baltic Exchange, the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO), the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) and is Vice-Chairman on the documentary committee of FONASBA. He brings legal, credit and documentary knowledge combined with a vast range of industry contacts. He is the editor of the Ship Arrest Handbook
